A Day Full of Fun and Community Spirit
Despite the heat and gusty winds, Wellington Village was buzzing with community spirit at our Community Fun Day! While the weather may have kept some people away, those who came brought fantastic energy and made the event truly special.
From delicious treats to exciting entertainment, there was something for everyone:
- The Lions Club of Rowville kept everyone cool with FREE snow cones, which were an absolute hit on such a hot day!
- The Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield ran a fantastic sausage sizzle, with all proceeds supporting local causes.
- Our talented face painter kept the kids entertained with colourful and creative designs.
- Ritchies IGA hosted a fantastic Food & Wine Expo, where visitors enjoyed free tastings and samples.
- Our friendly roving character was a crowd favourite, bringing plenty of smiles and fun photo opportunities.
- Gayle Dye from Share Space Inc. was on hand to share the wonderful work they do to support families in need within our community.
- A special thank you to Nicole Seymour – Community Matters Most who popped in to show her support.
A True Community Effort
While the weather made for a challenging day, we are incredibly grateful to all our traders, volunteers, and visitors who made the event a success. Your support and participation are what make Wellington Village such a wonderful place to be.
